We use a SSL certificate on pages that collect or display personal data, so that you can be assured that when you are logged into steelmuseum.org it is our site. Please note the https and the lock displayed by your browser on pages related to your membership account pages. Information collected during checkout is not stored on our server. Shopping cart and checkout function is performed by PayPal on their site. This provides a safe, PCI compliant environment for transactions.
We use the data we collect during membership registration ((name, address, email and phone, membership level and date) to provide our members with updates regarding their membership and to direct them to member discounts on tickets and merchandise when they are logged in.
We use Constant Contact for email notices and marketing. Participation is at the users discretion. Constant Contact supplies links for users to opt-in and -out at any time. Enrollment with Constant Contact is not related to member registration.

Our web server does not automatically recognize information regarding the domain or e-mail address for each visitor to our site. We do use Google Analytics to collect statistical information to evaluate our web site’s performance — for instance we collect information on what pages consumers visit.
